J&K on path of development post Art 370 abrogation: Kavinder

JAMMU, Dec 24: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has asserted that the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has ushered into an era of stability, development, and prosperity post Articles 370 and 35A abrogation as this historical step cleared all the hurdles that deprived the common people as well as J&K as a whole of many rights and benefits.
He said that it would be apt to say that J&K has witnessed drastic transformation during the period post abrogation.
He expressed this in his address during a function held as part of the Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyan at Ward No: 45 and 21 here today.
The senior BJP leader said that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir in terms of infrastructure development, social security and Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) implementation of various schemes launched by the Union Government from time to time and implementation of such schemes by the UT administration has improved in an unprecedented manner. He said that the best part of it is that the people of this sensitive region can feel and see the changes on ground themselves.
Kavinder said that BJP’s commitment to inclusive governance as per Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas has fostered a sense of belonging with renewed spirit and confidence among the people today.
During the last over nine years multiple herculean challenges have been overcome thus paving way for holistic development, economic growth and social harmony.
He urged the party functionaries to reach out to each booth and engage in Samvad explaining to the people the schemes and historic initiatives taken by the Prime Minister, Modi led BJP Government with the aim to benefit and uplift the poor and downtrodden in the society, he added.
Kavinder asserted that BJP Government will further intensify its efforts in the direction of path breaking initiatives across Jammu and Kashmir to ensure development, create infrastructure facilities, strengthen utility services and last but not the least giving an unprecedented push to the investments in this Union Territory.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion include Rekha Mahajan District President, Vikram Randhawa ex MLC, Vinay Gupta, Ayodhya Gupta, Bharat Bhushan, Neha Mahajan and Divya Jain.
