JAMMU, Dec 15: In order to overcome the problems being faced by the residents of Ward 41, a public meeting was organized by the Youth Mohalla Welfare Committee, Wazir Lane in which dozens of people participated and expressed their concerns in front of BJP leaders.
Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma along with others including District President Munish Khajuria, Corporator Sanjay Baru, Mandal Presidents Keshav Chopra and Raveesh Mengi, BJP Leader Ayodhya Gupta and others participated in it.
Newly appointed District President and Mandal Presidents from Jammu West were also felicitated by the locals in the program.
The program was organized by BJP leader Vinod Wazir.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful discussion was held with the locals and many things came up during interaction, where the locals stressed for taking up some utmost important works in the area besides completing the same within stipulated time frame.
Sharma called the concerned officials of various departments and forwarded the grievances of the people to them for which officials assured that their demand will be met shortly and wherever required, developmental works will be taken up in the area. Sharma also stated that after abrogation of Article 370, J&K is prospering speedily and within a stipulated time frame, it will compete with the Metro cities of India and this all has happened due to the untiring efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
Munish and Sanjay said that every elected Corporator from BJP is working on the ground 24×7 and development in the Constituency has touched heights during the tenure of Former MLA who is always on the ground and is in regular connect with the masses. He also stated that there are many works that are to be taken up soon so that best possible infra is provided to the masses.
Keshav and Raveesh stated that no ward in Jammu West Assembly segment has been left behind in terms of development and all 26 wards in the Constituency were kept on priority regarding infrastructural development. They also stressed upon maintaining cleanliness in the surroundings and appealed locals to strengthen the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of building a “Swachh Bharat”.
Chairman Welfare Committee DD Sharma, Puneet Mahajan, Pushpa Wazir, Jai Deep Sambyal, Jeetinder Khajuria, Munish Gupta, Ashok Wazir, Ravi Kant, Bubesh, Narinder Biri, Kaka Dubey, Brijesh, Vikas Khajuria, Girish Badyal, Koushal Kumar, Dalip Mittas, Jagdeep Singh, Dr Dineshwar, Des Raj Sharma and several others were also present.
