JAMMU, May 7: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 13 new COVID-19 positive cases, 4 from Jammu division and 9 from Kashmir valley.
As per the reports, maximum number of 4 Covid cases was reported from Ganderbal district, followed by 3 each from Jammu and Pulwama, and 1 case each from Baramulla, Kupwara and Ramban districts.
A total of 1,638 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 185–96 in Jammu division and 89 in Kashmir region whereas 32 COVID patients recovered today, 19 from Jammu division and 13 from Kashmir.
The highest number of 66 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 28 in Baramulla, 15 in Budgam, 13 in Shopian, 10 in Udhampur, 9 each in Doda and Ganderbal districts, 6 cases each in Pulwama, Anantnag and Samba, 3 each in Bandipora, Srinagar, Kupwara, Kulgam and Ramban, and 1 case each in Kathua and Rajouri districts.
