J&K reports 19 COVID cases

JAMMU, May 5: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 19 more COVID-19 positive cases, 7 from Jammu division and 12 from Kashmir valley.
Five cases each were reported from Jammu and Baramulla districts, followed by 4 from Budgam, 3 from Bandipora and 2 from Udhampur district. According to the reports, a total of 2,626 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 227– 141 in Jammu division and 86 in Kashmir region whereas 32 COVID patients recovered today, 17 from Jammu division and 15 from Kashmir.
The highest number of 100 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 33 in Baramulla, 14 in Budgam, 13 in Doda, 11 in Shopian, 10 cases each in Udhampur and Samba districts, 6 in Bandipora, 5 each in Ganderbal and Ramban, 4 cases each in Anantnag, Pulwama and Kulgam, 3 in Srinagar, 2 each in Kupwara and Kathua, and 1 case in Rajouri district.
