J&K reports 29 fresh COVID cases

JAMMU, May 3: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 29 fresh COVID-19 positive cases, 22 from Jammu Division and 7 from Kashmir Division.
The maximum number of 16 cases was reported from Jammu district, followed by 4 from Udhampur, 3 from Srinagar, 2 cases from Anantnag district and 1 each from Doda, Ramban, Baramulla and Budgam.
According to the reports, a total of 3,399 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 257, 162 in Jammu Division and 95 in Kashmir Division whereas 58 COVID patients recovered today, 39 from Jammu Division and 19 from Kashmir.
The highest number of 120 active cases is in Jammu district, followed by 23 in Baramulla, 13 in Budgam, 12 in Doda, 11 each in Srinagar, Ganderbal and Udhampur districts, 10 in Samba, 8 each in Kupwara, Bandipora and Shopian, 6 in Anantnag, 5 each in Pulwama and Ramban, 3 in Kathua, 2 in Kulgam and 1 case in Rajouri district.
