JAMMU, Feb 15: The quantum of development which the J&K UT witnessed under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP Government at the Centre is unprecedented and what is in offing is also unexpected in many ways.
This was stated by DDC Chairman Jammu Bharat Bhushan Bodhi after inaugurating tile works in the cremation ground at Channu Chak in Marh constituency. The development work was completed with an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakh. On the occasion, DDC member Balbir Lal, BDC Chairman Surinder Kumar, Sarpanch Prem Singh Chib and Panchs Daljeet Kour, Pawan Kumar and Shukar Dass were present.
Addressing the gathering, the DDC Chairman said that with the completion of the aforesaid work a long pending demand of the people of this village has been fulfilled today. He expressed his profound gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP Government for continuously providing funds for the developmental works at Panchayat level, due to which works are going on unhindered in the Panchayats at a rapid pace. He said that steps are being taken continuously for the development of rural areas under the Modi led Government at the Center which is making the requisite funds available for the Panchayats.
Bharat Bhushan said that a glance on the comparison between earlier Congress Government’s and the BJP dispensation under PM Modi will show the gigantic difference between the two regimes. He said that no previous government in the country took so much pain as the Modi Government, which changed the scenario as far as development profile is concerned and also the political course.
He said that the phenomenal development scenario which Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing today is testimony to the fact that PM Modi led Government’s performance is stellar and has no match whatsoever with any dispensation in the past. He asked the people to wait and watch the voyage of development being embarked by J&K UT as soon it will become part and parcel of the pool of the States and UTs which are leading the nation by treading steadfastly.
