JAMMU, Sept 5: The employees of the Jammu and Kashmir State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Ltd (J&K SCARD Bank) today staged a protest, demanding the immediate release of their pending salaries.
The employees alleged that the bank management has failed to disburse salaries on time, due to which they are forced to come on roads.
Many of them have said that they are facing severe personal and financial problems meeting their basic living expenses.
The employees demand their regularization as per their basic appointment orders, which was to be done in 2016 after completing two years of service being appointed in 2014.
“We are running from post to pillar for our demands but nobody is ready to listen our problems,” they said.
The protestors have demanded immediate action from the bank’s administration to resolve the issue and ensure timely payment of their dues.
They alleged that the Bank’s management is fully responsible for the entire mess and requested the LG Manoj Sinha to intervene in this matter and help them to release their pending salaries as soon as possible.
