JAMMU, May 3: A team of J&K unit of Shiv Sena (UBT) will leave for Mumbai on May 4 to campaign in favour of party candidates in Lok Sabha elections to be held on May 20 in fifth phase.
In a programme organized here today J&K Shiv Sena chief, Manish Sahni released a poster on the ground situation of both the States in which Maharashtra and J&K were described as victims of conspiracies by BJP.
He informed that a six member team of J&K Shiv Sena leaders under his leadership will leave for Mumbai to campaign in favour of Shiv Sena candidates in Maharashtra.
Sahni claimed that conspiracies have been hatched to destroy our cultural identity by looting our resources and in Maharashtra also unsuccessful attempts have been made to create political instability by breaking Shiv Sena and NCP alliance.
“We will campaign in favour of former Shiv Sena MP, Arvind Sawant from Mumbai South, Anil Desai from Mumbai South-Central, Amol Kirtikar from Mumbai North-West and Sanjay Dina Patil from Mumbai North-East and ensure their victory,” he maintained.
Shiv Sena women wing president Meenakshi Chhibber; general secretary, Vikas Bakshi; vice president, Balwant Singh; president Kamghar wing, Raj Singh; secretary, Rajesh Handa and Mangu Ram were also present on the occasion.
