J&K to showcase rich cultural heritage in World Cultural Festival

JAMMU, Mar 8: About 200 artists from J&K will showcase rich cultural heritage of all the three regions of the State in three-day world cultural festival to be held in Delhi at the bank of Yamuna from March 11 to 13.
This was revealed by Rajan Salalia, STC, Vikram Jain and Ajay Kapoor, State Media Coordinators, Art of Living Chapter Jammu, while addressing media persons here today.
“It is an opportunity for world leaders from cultural, social, political, business fields to come together to rekindle human values in the pursuit of happiness and peace”, they said adding the world culture festival emphasizes on co-existence, demonstrating the power of peace by bringing millions and millions of people together.
Elaborating more on the fest, they said that a dance troupe of 200 artists from the State will showcase the rich cultural heritage of all the three regions in front of 35 lakh people drawn from 155 countries and also be the part of 35000 plus cultural troupes performing at the venue from across the globe.
“Moreover, 50 musicians from the State will be also be part of 8500 musicians from across India performing in this first ever world culture & spiritual festival . There will be hundreds of Aolites and non Aolites from all sections of society of the State joining world in the event of the century at Delhi”, they added.
