JAMMU, Feb 4: Forty players from different States of India participated in the Indo-Nepal Speedball Tournament and secured 2nd position in it.
The Championship was organized by Nepal Speedball Federation at Nepal Indoor Stadium. Out of 40 players 25 players were from J&K.
These 25 players while representing Team India secured 2 Gold, 5 Silver and 12 Bronze Medals.
The players who won medals in the Championship included Bhumika Gupta, Ujjwal Gupta, Kirat Sharma, Gurvansh Choudhary, Nakul Gupta, Manthan Pandoh, Danish Gupta, Amritansh, Arpit Singh, Krishna, Vinayak, Jatin Vardan, Adeesh, Gurmanjeet Singh, Tavnoor Kour, Nischey, Hardeep Singh, Raghav Bral, Smohit, Harsh Vivek, Harivansh, Gopi Kishan, Ashutosh Singh Slathia and Manpreet Kour.
Chairman of J&K Speedball Association, Er SP Langer lauded the efforts of the players and their coach Sunny Nanda for this achievement.
