JAMMU, Apr 22: J&K Students Association core committee today held a detailed meeting to discuss the issues confronting the student community across the country and elected new office bearers for different States and Union Territory.
The meeting was presided over by National president Mushtaq Habeeb.
Fahad Ashraf and Manzoor Ahmad were appointed as State president for Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh respectively, while Faisal Bilal and Abbas Kashmiri were announced as president and secretary for J&K and Adil Bhat was elected as president of Chandigarh, Aamir Anees Lone as Tribal head for J&K, besides Munnawar Mehraj will hold additional charge of president for Punjab state till further order.
Sheikh Azhar was appointed as secretary for Punjab, while Faizaan Peer will hold additional charge of president of Delhi and Nasir Khuehami was announced as national media coordinator till further order.
