JK students attend 25th Rashtra Katha Camp in Gujarat

JAMMU, Jan 9: After returning from the 25th Rashtra Katha Camp, held in Narajakot, Gujarat, which was attended by 25 students of J&K, a ceremony function was held here today.
On the occasion, the children shared their experiences related to the camp with the Chief Guest Hariom Khare, Commandant 100 Battalion CRPF.
The children said that they have been benefited a lot from this program and they have been enlightened by a glimpse of the whole of India.
They also said that such programs should be organized continuously so that more children can benefit from it.
During the ceremony, the Chief Guest blessed all the children and wished them success in every field of life.
Before sending them for the trip, the children were given a fitness kit containing various types of essential clothes and items related to daily needs.
The children enthusiastically participated in various social and cultural activities organized during the Rashtra Katha Camp and got acquainted with children of different regions and backgrounds from different parts of the country and their culture.
Along with this, during the camp, the children also observed the exhibitions organized by various departments and also participated enthusiastically in the yoga program organized there and learned the tricks of keeping themselves healthy through yoga.
Apart from other programs, the children especially appreciated the exhibition and yoga program organized by ISRO, Air Force, Navy and other departments.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of other officers and personnel including Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Commandant and Rana Pratap Singh Deputy Commandant of 160 Battalion.
