JAMMU, May 15: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti (BSS) J&K held its Annual Principals workshop and Annual General Council Meeting from May 11 to May 15 at State office Narayan Bhawan, Ved Mandir Complex Ambphalla here. The programme was inaugurated by Sh. Hem Chander Ji national secretary Vidya Bhati Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sanasthan Delhi in the presence of Surinder Attri Ji general secretary Vidya Bharti North zone, Jagdish Kalavatia, vice president Vidya Bharti North Zone, Dilip Jha Ji, Secretary Vidya Bharti Bihar, Ram Lal Sharma Senior vice president, J&K State Sangthan Mantri, Pradip Kumar Ji and all office bearers of Samiti.
Samir Krishan Saproo Office Secretary presented the welcome address. Pradip Singh and Renu Sharma Principals of Ramban and Udhampur were the coordinators of the workshop.
Hem Chander impressed upon all the principals to work according to the aim of Vidya Bharti in efficient and planned manner with missionary zeal. He said that Vidya Bharti started its first school in 1952 in Gorakhpur UP and at present is running 13 thousand schools in all parts of the nation on the basis of Bhartiya view of life based on our rich cultural heritage and innovative knowledge concepts of education.
Thirty principals of Vidya Mandirs including Leh & Kargil attended the conference. The main topics which were discussed in the workshop where in service teacher training, school annual planning, programmes of academic excellence, ideal educational atmosphere, syllabus and educational workshop based on CCE. Sanskriti Bodh Pariyojna, role of ex-students and teachers, analysis of results of 8th & 10th class, Gyan Vigyan, Shishu Vatika, Balika Shiksha. Programmes of 2017-18 like sports and games competitions science exhibitions, personality development camps of students. The AGM of Prant Samiti was inaugurated in the BVM High School Ambphalla on May 14.
On this occasion Ram Lal Sharma Sr. Vice President of Samiti was honoured by presenting a Shawl & citation as he had donated all his income from pension for the development of Dashmesh Bhartiya Vidya Mandir amounting three lakhs and . Ranjana Bajaj Ex-Principal & Writer of Primary class text books of Samiti for helping Vidya Bharti in the same.
