J&K was never part of partition plan: PK

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Dec 20: Expressing its concern over the recently held conference by Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation (CDR) in the Winter Capital here to promote the separatist and secessionist agenda, Panun Kashmir today made it clear that J&K was never a part of partition plan.
J&K is the part of indivisible Union of India and there are no stakeholders in the State other than the nation of India, PK chairman Dr Ajay Chrungoo told reporters here today.
Flanked by Omkar Nath Trisal a senior leader of the organization and its general secretary Kuldeep Raina, Dr Chrungoo said J&K has been under assault from a regressive militarized movement, which has destroyed the freedom of people and unleashed genocides in the State. He made it clear that people, who want to restore everlasting peace in the state, should work for weeding out terrorism and fight out this ideology on ground.
The conference has ended accepting the main contention of Pakistan and the radical Islamic establishment in the State, which is not acceptable to nationalist forces in the state, he added.
He said Pakistan, Jamat-I- Islamia and other Salafi –Wahabi groups along with other separatists formations have been resolutely demanding a tripartite solution to the problem in J&K involving Pakistan and the separatists as the main stake holders and the CDR has towed the same lines.
“It played a role of promoting Pakistan as stake holder in J&K at a time when the world at large recognizes it as a mere aggressor not only for its actions since independence but also for promoting international Jehad’’, he added.
Dr Chrungoo said   the visit of Kashmiri separatist groups to Pakistan and their expressions the way the Pakistan Minister Rehman Malik conducted himself in India, the aggressive postures adopted by Pakistan at the ground level as well as at the highest level vis a vis J&K and India besides the conclusion of the CDR conference in Jammu seem to be more than complimentary to each other.
He said observing the activities of CDR over a period of time PK sees a dangerous selectivity as well as tilt in the activities pursued under the garb of making peace and reconciliation in the state. The CDR has resolutely overlooked the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus and trivialized it. Besides it has abjectly ignored the role of militant regimes operating in the state and the international forces promoting them, he added.
Maintaining that PK will fight tooth and nail against the forces hell bent on promotion of secessionist movement in the state, he appealed the community members to participate in large numbers in the PK programme on Homeland Day falling on December 28.
