KISHTWAR, May 5: Asserting that PDP was pursuing agenda of peace and prosperity, Member Legislative Council (MLC), Firdous Tak, today said that J&K under the present dispensation headed by Mehbooba Mufti is witnessing new era of transparency and accountability.
“The writ of State is visible and people are feeling a change on the ground due to the sincere efforts of our Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti”, Tak said while addressing office bearers of party’s district unit for Kishtwar. He said that the recent decision of the State Government to establish Saffron village in Kishtwar has brought respite for the saffron growers.
Referring to the growing unemployment across the State, especially in Chenab Valley, Tak urged the State Government to ensure early start of work on Pakal Dool, Kero, Kwar and Rattle power projects so as to deal with the problem.
