JAMMU, Mar 2: Jammu Kashmir All Departments Clerical Staff Association (JKADCSA), has urged upon the Lt Governor M K Sinha and Chief Secretary to issue promotion orders in favour of eligible and genuine Section Officers of the HOD cadre as Administrative Officers.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the leadership of Jeelani Naik, president, the members expressed serious concern over the delay being caused by the UT Administration in issuing promotion orders of the Section Officers as AOs. They said for the last about one year, the senior most SOs are waiting for the response from the Government side.
They said eight posts are also lying vacant for the last few years. They are not being given their due share out of the posts available for promotion. They have also given several representations but nothing has happened.
They urged upon the Lt Governor , M K Sinha, Chief Secretary and the Commissioner / Secretary GAD to intervene into the matter and provide justice to the cadre.
