JKAEA discusses demands of Accounts cadre

JAMMU, Jan 17: J&K Accounts Employees Association (JKAEA), Jammu discussed various demands of the Accounts cadre in its meeting held today under the presidentship of Kamal Singh Pathania, president of the Association.
The main demands discussed in the meeting include promotion of members of J&K Accounts Service at each level, regularization of officers/officials promoted in their own pay band/pay level, removal of pay parity of AAOs and replacement of non-technical DDOs in various departments of the Union Territory with professional DDOs of Finance department.
The Association members also stressed for providing inadequate promotion avenues to in-service/departmental accounts personnel and finalization of cadre schedule. They said all these demands have already been brought into the notice of the authorities of the Finance Department and they have also given assurance for redressal but authorities need to do something concrete and positive to fulfill all these demands.
The meeting among others was attended by Mushtaq Ahmed Mughal (president JKAEA Kashmir), Sanjay Sadhu (public secretary, JKCSNGEU), Adarsh Sharma (vice president, Jammu unit), Shiv Paul Singh (general secretary, Jammu unit) and Sanjay Pandoh (secretary, Jammu unit).
