JAMMU, Sept 24: A meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Assoc-iation (JKATA) held here discussed pending demands, at Press Club today.
The meeting was presided over by Dr Vishal Manhas chairman of the Association, who briefed the technocrats about the delegation which was led by Dr Bhawani Singh, provincial president to Srinagar and met Agriculture Minister Gulam Hassan Mir and projected the demand of ReZ and gave a memorandum to him regarding batch wise regularization.
Another deputation under the chairmanship of Vishal Manhas met Union Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad who was then Chief Minister of J&K when ReZ were engaged in 2007 and briefed him about the hardships of ReZ the deputation explained Union Health Minister that ReZ have crossed the age of eligibility of service and now only batch wise regularization can save their future. A memorandum was given by the deputation to him also.
Those present in the meeting were Ramandeep Singh, Harmeet Singh, Bhawani Singh, K.D. Singh and Nitin Baru.
