JKATA holds demonstration, demands regularization

KATHUA, Sept 4: Raising slogans against the Government Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA) held one-day protest dharna and demanded amendment in Cabinet decision as per assurance given by it regarding regularization of Rehber-e-Ziarat.
Agricultural technocrats assembled at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park here and held protest demonstration the against Government for not amending Cabinet decision of 2011, under the leadership of Dr Surinder Radotra, president JKATA along with district Kathua unit president Joginder Singh.
Dr Radotra warned the State Government to take regularization initiative as early as possible and if the Government failed to do the needful, a forceful agitation would be launched. He demanded one time regularization after completion of seven years of regular services as ReZ.
Prominent among those who attended and addressed the meeting included Dr Vinod Sharma (chairman), Dr Manmeet Singh and Raju (vice president), Sanjeev Chib (Kathua), Ravi Salaria, Sanjeev Verma, Dr Sikander Singh Jamwal (VP Jammu district), Dr Vinod Kumar and others.
An appeal was issued to entire cadre to remain united to achieve the goal.
