JAMMU, Aug 4: Jammu and Kashmir Bank Employees Association (JKBEA), Jammu Unit held elections to elect office bearers.
In the election process, which held after a gap of over one and half decade, large number of bank employees of the Jammu province took part.
The election was held under the leadership of Convener Election Committee and Cluster Head Udhampur Iqbal Singh and senior executives of J&K Bank Mahinder Singh and Mohan Singh.
A total of 486 votes were polled and the Panel of Ishvinder Singh under the able guidance of Dr Mohammad Ashfaq, Mentor JKBEA Jammu Unit was declared winner.
Ishvinder Singh was elected as president, whileas Pritam Singh as general secretary, Junaid Malik as senior vice president, Pushp Raj as vice president, Shabir Hussain and Anshuman Jamwal as secretaries, Daleep Dhar as organizing secretary and Prikshit Badyal as treasurer.
Mentor and Federation President of All India Jammu Kashmir Bank Employees Federation Dr Mohammad Ashfaq was also present on the occasion.
