JAMMU, Aug 4: Jammu and Kashmir Bank Officers Federation (JKBOF) has strongly condemned the malicious and baseless propaganda based on surmises and conjectures against the Bank in the columns of print media, which has transcended the issue of Bank’s unparalled growth and gone into other areas of working of the institution.
The Association claimed that the Bank has grown by leaps and bounds for the last three years under the dynamic leadership of Mushtaq Ahmed, chairman and CEO in all fields and all dimensions of business. “The pace of growth of business during last three years is matchless. The Bank has played a vital role in eradication of unemployment problem of the State by providing direct and indirect employment to the youths of the State”, the Association maintained and added that the institution in a very short time has earned international fame, which is not being digested by the certain forces inimical to the all round development of the institution.
Though the columnists are best replied by silence but it seems that these good friends have misunderstood our silence as our inability to come clean on the issue and started giving sermons with little knowledge and incorrect information, the Association said.
The Association vehemently rejected all that has come into media, alleging that it is aimed at projecting the image of the Bank in a negative frame.
The Association appealed the general public not to get disturbed with the baseless propaganda and be assured that the institution is run on sound principles and in a professional manner.
