JKBOSE declares Class 10th result; 78 percent students qualify exam

JAMMU, June 29: J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) today declared the result of Secondary School Examination (Class 10th), Session Annual, Regular, 2021 Summer Zone of Jammu Division.
A total of 54802 candidates appeared in the said examination spread over 686 Examination Centres, out of which 42576 students have been declared qualified constituting 78 percent of the total examinees. Girls have again outnumbered boys by scoring a pass percentage of 81.02 percent whereas boys stood at 75 percent.
1990 students have secured A1 Grade, 5273 – A2 Grade, 8111 – B1 Grade, 9185 – B2 Grade, 8801 – C1 Grade, 7064 – C2 Grade and 2152 students secured D Grade.
The Government schools have shown better performance with a success rate of 67.04 percent as compared to 55.88 percent of the last year, hence registering a leap of 11.16 percent.
According to Prof Veena Pandita, Chairperson, JKBOSE, high success rate of the result shows that the online classes and community classes have remained fruitful endeavours. “Those who couldn’t make it this time, shall not feel disheartened as they have another chance to prove their worth; surging ahead with renewed enthusiasm shall certainly bring them success,” she said, adding that the students having any query regarding their results must contact either JKBOSE or their School Principals.
In order to facilitate the access of students to the result gazette, the JKBOSE has made adequate arrangements through various media. The result is available online on the official website of JKBOSE www.jkbose.nic.in and on www.indiaresults.com as well. The candidates can also avail SMS facility by sending the text message to 5676750 by typing JKBOSE10 followed by a space and Roll No. e.g., “JKBOSE10 Roll No.”. Those who don’t have access to Mobile Phones or internet can get their results from their nearest JKBOSE office where the soft copies of result gazettes have been provided. The result is also available in the offices of the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned districts for the convenience of the students and general public.
In case of any query regarding this result, the students have been advised to avoid visiting the JKBOSE office Jammu physically due to COVID-19 restrictions.
