JAMMU, July 4: J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) today declared result of Higher Secondary Examination Part II (Class 12th), Session Annual, Regular, 2021 Summer Zone of Jammu Division.
A total number of 45306 candidates appeared in the said examination at 514 Examination Centres, out of which 35840 have been declared qualified constituting 79 percent of the total examinees.
Girls have again outnumbered boys by scoring a pass percentage of 83 percent whereas boys stood at 76 percent. Out of total examinees, 25370 were boys and 19929 were girls.
In Science stream, the first position has been shared by two students with 99.2 percent marks viz. Aryaveer Singh from Shishu Niketan Higher Secondary School Samba and Liza Sharma of S P Hr Secondary School Bari Brahmana. Sourav Chowdhary from Shiksha Niketan Hr Sec School Jeevan Nagar, Jammu excelled in Commerce stream with 99.2 percent, Srishti Sharma of GGHSS Mubarak Mandi, Jammu excelled in faculty of Home Science with 96.6 percent marks whereas Meenakshi Gupta of Shiksha Niketen Hr Sec. School Jeevan Nagar Jammu secured first position in Arts stream with 99.2 percent marks.
Though the papers were conducted as scheduled in the date sheet notified by JKBOSE but examination in some subjects could not be conducted due to the threat of COVID-19 pandemic. Considering the academic career and interest of the students JKBOSE has awarded marks in these left out papers according to the Govt approved assessment criteria by awarding proportionate percentage of marks.
Those candidates who are not satisfied and ready to accept their results declared after awarding marks on average basis, shall be given chance to appear in the examination as and when the same is feasible to be conducted.
The result is available online on the official website of JKBOSE www.jkbose.nic.in and on www.indiaresults.com as well. The candidates can also avail SMS facility by sending the text message to 5676750 by typing jkbose12 followed by a space and Roll No. e.g., “jkbose12 Roll No.”.
