JAMMU, Dec 13: A 40-year-old man reportedly a JKBOSE official was attacked today with sharp edged weapons by two unknown miscreants in Nanak Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the victim identified as Kulvir Singh (40) son of Harcharan Singh, a resident of Nanak Nagar was attacked today with sharp edged weapons by two unknown miscreants at Shivaji Chowk in Nanak Nagar area falling under the limits of police station Gandhi Nagar.
In the attack, the man received serious injuries on his hands and legs. The blood-ridden Kulvir was immediately rushed to Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, where in view of his serious condition he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
The condition of the victim was stated to be stable but unfit for giving any statement till the last reports came in.
A case in this connection has been registered at police station Gandhi Nagar and further investigations are underway.
