JAMMU, July 1: Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association (JKBWA) unanimously elected its office bearers for the term 2019-22 in its general body meeting held today at Domana under the chairmanship of Sarpanch Ghaseeta Ram Lakhotra.
The meeting unanimously elected Romesh Sargotra as president, Kamal Singh Kaith as chairman, Kamal Chand Motan, Gunni Ram Kaith, Des Raj Kaith and Bua Ditta Kaith as deputy chairmen, Diley Ram Kaith as senior vice president, Baldev Chand Sandhu, Mohan Lal Motan, Birender Kaith and Pt Vijay Kumar as vice-presidents; Ram Lal Lakhotra as general secretary and Gurdas Chand Sargotra as joint secretary.
Baljeet Kaith, Mahesh Chander and Balbir Lal were elected as organising secretaries, Narayan Dass Bassa as treasurer, whereas Gandherb Ram Motan, Uttam Chand Sandhu, Rattan Lal Motan, Darshan Lal Kaith, Amar Nath Targotra, Chaman Lal Kaith, Nand Lal Lakhotra and Raj Kumar Kaith were elected as members.
The Association also elected its youth body with Naib Sarpanch Dr Varinder Paul Lakhotra as president, Manga Ram Lakhotra as senior vice president, Navdeep Lakhotra as vice president, Kuldeep Raj Kaith as general secretary, Raj Kumar Lakhotra as joint secretary and Rakesh Lakhotra as treasurer.
