JKCA for framing of State Minority Commission

JAMMU, Dec 18: Jammu and Kashmir Christian Association (JKCA) today appealed the Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed to constitute the Minority Commission in the State.
The issue was raised during a meeting of the association held on Minority Day under the chairmanship of JKCA president, Waris Gill. The meeting was attended by a large number of people from Christian Community.
During the meeting, Gill urged the CM Mufti Mohd Sayeed to constitute the Minority Commission in the State on the pattern of National Minority Commission 1992 in which the minorities like Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsees and Jains are the identified minorities and there is full fledge Ministry of Minorities where the safe guards as well as the benefits are provided to the minorities.
