JAMMU, Jan 8: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Coordination Committee of Power Employees Union (JKCCPEU) led by general secretary Deep Mehra met Managing Director (MD) of Jammu Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Vikas Kundal and projected issues of employees.
Comprising of Balbir Singh Jamwal (president, Draftsmen Association), Kulbir Singh (president, JKEEU), Manjeet Singh (president, Power Employees & Workers Union), Jasbir Singh (president, ITI Diploma Holder Union, Jammu) and comrades Rajesh Bagal, Ranjeet Singh and Jog Raj Singh, the delegation projected a range of issues concerning employees of the Department to the MD JPDCL.
The delegation members explained in detail all the issues and problems of the employees, particularly DPC issue of PDL/TDL, Tech-III, clerks, Superintendents, SOs and Draftsmen and urged the MD to intervene personally and ensure convening of DPC of all cadres at the earliest.
Other demands projected by the delegation were release of grade benefit in favour of all I/c Head Assistants and I/c Senior Assistants as one time exemption, release of GPF cases pending in treasury offices, finalization of seniority in favour of employees working in Executive cadre in all grades and release of pending salary of employees who were age relaxed by the Government.
