JAMMU, Apr 14: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Casual Labour United Front (JKCLUF) met with Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmad Rana and Satish Sharma here today.
The members of delegation apprised them of the grievances of daily wage workers/casual labourers and put forth their demands before them which include regularization and implementation of minimum wages act.
Both the Ministers assured them that the Jammu and Kashmir government is already concerned about their demands and trying to resolve them.
The members also invited them to Maharaja Hari Singh Park on April 22, where daily wages workers of every department are going to hold a Mahapanchayat and asked them to come and put forth their side on behalf of the government and assure us that the government is with us.
Among others who were part of the delegation included Tanveer Hussain, Devinder Singh Reasi, Pawan Kumar, Farooq Bhati Sunderwani, Babu Hussain Malik, Tartaz, Vishan Raina, Pradeep Sharma, Vinod, Bashir Ahmad Kashmir and Ganesh.
