JKCNEE Union begins ‘Golden Jubilee’ celebrations

Srinagar, Feb 14: J&K Central Non-Gazetted Electrical Employees (JKCNEE) Union starts off its ‘Golden Jubilee Celebrations’ by commemorating February 14, which marks 50 years since its foundation in the year 1972.
In this regard, a meeting presided over by state president Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Bhat was held at union headquarter PDD complex Bemina.
The meeting was attended by various former union activists and leaders who in past have contributed to defending the rights of employees/workers.
The gathering was also attended by Nazir Ahmed Gagroo and chief patron R.A Khanyari, who addressed the meeting through video conferencing.
During the meeting, rich tributes were paid to former workers and leaders who have laid down the foundation of the union and leaders who later played a key role in running and expanding it to Pan Jammu & Kashmir including Ladakh.
The union has decided that the Golden Jubilee Year ‘2022’ will be celebrated on different occasions and venues across the state in the form of Seminars, Conventions and Delegate Conferences.
The focus of the events would be on concerns and difficulties faced by employees and workers at present and shaping the future strategy.
