JKDC organizes Medical Camp for over 550 patients

Srinagar, Apr 15: J&K Development Council, a subsidiary of Bharat Vikas Parishad, today organized a Medical Camp at Sub District Hospital Hazratbal here.
About 550 patients from different districts of Kashmir Province benefited from the event, which was inaugurated by Chowdhary Mohd Iqbal, Director of Agriculture Kashmir, Dr. Salim Khan, H.O.D. GMC, Dr. Farah Shafi, BMO SDH Block Hazratbal, and Dr. Abdul Rashid, Medical Officer SDH Block Hazratbal, and Sh. Dev Raj Sharma, Regional President Bharat Vikas Parishad North.
Doctors from BVP Charitable Hospital Ludhiana and Dr. K D Super-speciality Hospital Jammu attended the patients.
They took the measurements of disabled persons and will provide them with free artificial limbs within a few days. Eye check-ups were also conducted, and hearing aids will be provided in the near future.
Other prominent members of the Bharat Vikas Parishad who attended the event are Arun Kumar, Regional Jt General Secretary, Sh. Bharat Bhushan Sharma, State President, Sh. Shiv Ram Sharma, State General Secretary, Devinder Mahajan, Miss Bharkat Kaur, General Secretary of the J&K Development Council, and Javed Mohd Khan, President of the J&K Development Council Kashmir.
They were welcomed by Sh. Javed Mohd Khan and his team, who helped in mobilizing all the patients from various districts. Khan assured everyone that similar camps will be organized in the future for the benefit of society. Prominent members from the Srinagar branch who attended the camp are Javed Hussain Najar, Tauqeer Hassan, Javed Ahmed Dar, Saika Manzoor, and RBSK team members.
