JAMMU, Apr 24: Terming the new Recruitment Policy of the State Government as anti-youth particularly belonging to SC and ST community, All J&K Dalit Chetna Manch (JKDCM) today stressed upon the Government for its immediate roll back.
Addressing a press conference here today, JKDCM president, Sham Lal Basson said that the new Recruitment Policy of the State Government is a setback to the educated youth of the State in general and SC and ST youths in particular.
He said by the issuance of J&K Recruitment Ordinance 2015, the constitutional rights of reservation of SCs and STs have been snatched.
He said if the Government does not roll back this policy; the SC/ST communities will come on roads and start a mass movement. He said that agitation will remain continue till the new Recruitment Policy is withdrawn and warned the Government for not testing the patience of the people.
Narinder Dutt Bhagat, Kesar singh, Ram Lal Dogra, Kuldeep Raaj, Banarsi Lal, Bihari Lal Bhagat, FC Azad and many others were present in the press conference.
