JAMMU, Mar 17: Describing the JKDF a rising force to counter the opportunistic political groups who have time and again exploited the people by their political gimmicks and false promises just to serve their vested interests at the cost of mass sentiments, Anil Gupta pointed out that existing political groups in connivance with ruling parties have always betrayed the people of Jammu.”
Interacting with people at Udhampur and Hiranagar during the poll campaigning for Doda Udhampur Constituency, JKDF State President Anil Gupta referred to the poor state of developmental activities in rural areas of Udhampur District. Pointing towards the developmental issues concerning the district Udhampur, he said, Congress and NC have become symbols of corruption, whereas BJP is bent upon to play the divisive politics coupled with exploiting religious sentiments of masses. These groups are least bothered about the developmental and public welfare activities. These issues can only be seen and read in their election manifestoes which are hardly being realized, he added.
Expressing concern over dilapidated roads in far flung areas of district and various villages, poor supply of electricity, water and medical facilities in rural areas and growing unemployment, he said these are the major challenges which the Party will take up. He said JKDF is for equal development, justice and rights of all the districts of this Constituency and shall work for providing the employment to youth in Central Government departments and country’s Armed forces.
On the occasion former Union Minister and MLA Prof Chaman Lal Gupta who was also accompanying Anil Gupta, appealed the people to strengthen the hands of Anil Gupta by casting their precious vote in his favour to make him able to take up the issues of this region effectively in the Parliament and fulfill the dream of developed and prosperous region which he has strived for throughout his life.
