JKDF holds protest

JAMMU, June 30: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF), youth wing, held a protest demonstration near Governor House and demanded announcement of Rs 2000 per month allowance for unemployed youth till they are absorbed into the jobs.
JKDF activists led by, district vice president, Krishan Kapoor, president, Munish Khajuria, Vijay Kumar and Aman Sharma, district secretaries, raised slogans against the Government and demanded formulation of employment policy for the unemployed youth of the State particularly of Jammu region.
Addressing the gathering, Anil Gupta, chairman, JKDF, reiterated that the youth of Jammu are being discriminated regarding giving employment by the Government.
Munisth Khajuria, while speaking said that militants and stone pelters are getting jobs on the name of rehabilitation, but the youth of Jammu are being deprived of their rights.
Among others present were Jyoti Dogra, Ravi Mehra, Virender Singh, Ankush Sharma, Rohit Kerni, Abhishek Slathia Vijay Kumar, Ajay Sharma, etc.
