JKEDI holds awareness programmes

SRINAGAR, Sept 9: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) today held entrepreneurship awareness-cum-loan fair in Ganderbal district.
A spokeswoman of the institute said it is a part of JKEDI’s state-wide awareness campaign of term loan scheme being sponsored by the Central Government under the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC).
Financial assistance for projects costing up to Rs.10 lakh is provided to backward sections among minorities under NMDFC’s term loan scheme at concessional interest rates.
The awareness camp organised at Town Hall Ganderbal was attended by over 130 participants including Sarpanchs, ITI trainees, Councilors and district officers from various departments.
Members of the Nehru Yuva Kendra actively took part in the day-long session, she said.
