UDHAMPUR, Aug 9: JK Electronic Ears, Prime Speech and Hearing Clinic, opened its one more branch here.
The clinic was inaugurates by Retd Er Vijay Kumar Gupta, Director, JK Electronic Ears, Prime Speech and Hearing Clinic.
Director JKEE is already running two of its diagnostic, the rapeutic and rehabilitative clinical branches in Jammu. One is in New Plot and other in Gandhi Nagar.
Clinical specialists from JKEE have been reported that as per Indian census, J&K is having 2.7 per cent of total disability rate in which district Doda is having highest disability rate. Out of 2.7 per cent 0.9 per cent of population is suffering from speech problem and 0.4 per cent is suffering from hearing problem.
The main objective of opening its new branch in Udhampur is to serve and rehabilitate children and adults suffering from speech and hearing problems and also to facilitate far-flung areas where disability rate is much higher due to lack of awareness, facility and approach.
It also aims at creating awareness among people on how to prevent, cure and rehabilitate speech and hearing problems.
