JAMMU, Apr 12: In an emergency meeting of J&K Electrical Engineering Graduates’ Association, (JKEEGA) chaired by its President, Er. Doulat Ram Bhagat regarding order issued by Development Commissioner Power vide no.07-DCP of 2015 Dt 08-04-2015 wherein five J.E’s working as Store Officers in different divisions were transferred and readjusted again as Store Officers in other divisions which was a clear cut deviation of already laid down norms.
The said impugned order was got cancelled vide No. 12-DCP of 2015 Dt: 10-04-2015 thus relieving Electrical Engineering fraternity of the ignominious agony & distressed by such type of orders. Further, the Association also condemned the order issued vide No 09-DCP of 2015 Dt 09-04-2015 wherein two engineers are made to swap their postings within the city. It is pertinent to mention here that a host of Engineers are working in remote areas from last many years have not been considered by the authorities. This shows clear nepotism and only the blue eyed Engineers are rotated within the city in a very surreptitious manner which is unbecoming for the issuing authority.
JKEEGA appeals to the CM and DyCM. who also holds the portfolio of Power, to look into the matter which exposes the mal-intentions at the level of issuing authority & rid the department of elements involved in the transfer industry as promised by Govt. very recently, so that transparency prevails at every level.
