JKEEU delegation calls on PDD, PDC officers

JAMMU, Mar 13: A delegation Jammu and Kashmir Electric Employees Union (JKEEU) led by its State president, Abdul Salam Rajpuri called on Commissioner Secretary Power and discussed the burning and legitimate issues of the employees of JKSPC /PDD.
The Commissioner / Secretary PDD assured the delegation that their legitimate demands will be meted out in due course of time. Threadbare discussions were held on various issues which included creation of posts for subordinate staff like technical, skilled and ministerial staff of PDD in the circles and divisions on the analogy of engineering staff.
It further demanded release of Risk Allowance in favour of those workers who are engaged in risk prone jobs , introduction of health insurance on the pattern of neighboring States, implementation of SRO 381 in respect of meter readers, SBAs, line erectors etc as has been done earlier in PDD, compliance of court orders,  amendment in employees welfare fund and SRO 381, removal of pay anomalies, conducting of DPC, creation of posts of senior foremen, technician I, Technician II, increase in secretariat training quota, attaching designations as per the assignment of job, repatriating the staff of PDD from PDC etc.
The same demands were later discussed by the Union leadership with MD PDC and DC Power.
Deepak Thakur, Krishan Singh Jamwal, Jatinder Sharma, Rajan Babu Khajuria, Koushal Kumar, Ranjodh Singh, M Maqbool Najar, Hamidulla Parrey and Liaqat Ahmed Matto were among the other members of delegation.
