JAMMU, Sept 25: J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) under the chairmanship of RK Chhibber organized a promotional campaign in Kameshwar Temple Akhnoor today.
Keeping in view the ongoing holy Navratri festival, the programme was intended to target the enormous devotees who visit the temple.
Mahamandaleshwar 1008 Mahant Rameshwar Dass was the chief guest on the occasion. The programme was organized by MF&FI Department in coordination with the Chairman Secretariat, Area Office Jammu and Branch Offices Akhnoor, Nardi, Maira and Batera in order to promote the various schemes and products offered by the bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Bharti, Chief, General Affairs Department, JKGB, spoke at length about the ongoing JKGB Festival Bonanza – 2017 with a special offer of rebate in rate of interest of 0.5% for two-wheeler loans for females and no processing charges on car, housing and two-wheeler loans.
People were informed regarding various schemes of the bank including car, housing and education loan. They were informed that bank is offering loans to the customers at lowest interest rates in the State. They were further informed about the benefits of social security schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana.
The thrust was also given on various IT products like RuPay cards, SMS Alerts, NEFT/ RTGS and Immediate Payment services (IMPS). The pamphlets having information regarding the various deposits and loans products were also distributed to the masses.
