JKGEWF projects employees’ demands

JAMMU, Feb 29:  The Jammu and Kashmir Govt Employees and Workers Federation (JKGEWF) discussed pending issues of the employees here today.
In a meeting of the Federation held here today under the chairmanship of  Kulwant Singh, its president, the members projected the burning issues of the employees and workers. They pointed out that RET and RAMSA workers were without wages since long. They should be paid regularly.
They  demanded removal of pay anomalies, merger of 50 % DA in basic pay, regularization of daily wagers, enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month and conduct of  timely DPC of all cadres.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included- Lekh Raj, Shahid Hussain, Subash Chander, K S Sambyal, KS Khalsa, Ram Paul and Suresh Kumar.
