JKGLTF demands DPC of teachers, masters

UDHAMPUR, Apr 24: A meeting of J&K General Line Teachers Forum (JKGLTF) was held here today under the chairmanship of its general secretary, Rakesh Singh, wherein the speakers stressed for conducting DPC of teachers and masters.
Besides, various problems faced by the teacher community were discussed and several resolutions were adopted for the betterment of teacher and student community.
The main issues discussed were Cabinet decision to revoke Government Order No 469 of Education, release salary of teachers and masters working under NPS/RMSA/SSA, adjustment of all masters promoted in February 2014, revert all ReT teachers from SSRB post to their original place of posting, not allow transfer of SSA/ReT teachers, exemption of all teachers from extra – academic duties, timely release of annual increment of teachers, issue books at the start of academic session to the students and special orientation program for newly recruited teachers, start super 50 CM Tutorial in Jammu Division during summer vacation on the pattern of Kashmir Division, etc.
