JAMMU, July 22: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum called on Director School Education Jammu, Rakesh Kumar Sarangal and apprised him about various issues confronting the teaching community.
Main issue, thoroughly debated, was of regularization of incharge lecturers. It was stated that till date, the data was not submitted by some of the officers.
The Director took serious note of the non submission of the data and issued on spot instruction to the concerned officials of the office to issue reminder to all CEOs in this regard. He re-assured the delegation that in case of integrity certificates if any CEO doesn’t issue the same and is reluctant to provide this in favour of incharge lecturer, he would personally issue the integrity of all lecturers and other. He also deputed a team of his office officials to CEO Jammu to seek on the spot information and cause of delay in non submission the required information.
Other issues, taken up, were transfer of teaching staff, DPC of Masters to Headmasters, adjustment of surplus staff, cancellation of detachment of teaching and non teaching staff.
Regarding transfers, Director said that a Board of officers would do the transfer and matter in this regard was under consideration in ADM Department. Regarding DPC of Masters, he assured that the list would be released shortly. Surplus staff list has been submitted to ADM department and as per directive all would be adjusted, he added.
The delegation, headed by Amar Nath Thakur, comprised of Satish Dutta, Parveen Singh, Vijay Kumar, Harpal Singh, Tara Mani, Ashwani Kumar, and others.
