KATHUA, Jan 2: Under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum, a meeting of Incharge cadres and teachers was held here today to discuss the burning issues.
The main demands discussed, were regularization of incharge cadres of School Education Department, releasing pending salary of head teachers and ReT teachers under erstwhile SSA, sanctioning of TBP cases of teacher’s in district Kathua, competition of service books of teachers and other employees, transfers of Lecturers, Masters and Teachers as per transfer norms of winter zones, adjustment of newly promoted incharge lecturers etc.
Speaking in the meeting, participants said that regularization of 11000 incharge officers and Lecturers must be expedited besides release of pending salary of 2018 and sanctioning TBP of teachers.
Addressing the meeting, Amar Nath Thakur, chairman of the Forum, said that all seniority lists of all incharge gazetted cadres (Joint Directors, CEOs, 2900 Principals, 1600 ZEOs, 6000 Lecturers and 350 Headmasters) are being finalized and would be updated on the official website of the department shortly.
Others, who spoke in the meeting, included Sarveen Singh, Surjit Singh, Angrez Singh, Rajesh Singh, Ishar Singh and Anchal Singh.
