JKJS seeks welfare, land rights for PoJK Displaced Persons

JAMMU, Jan 6: To seek the welfare and land rights for the PoJK Displaced Persons of 1947,65 and 71, a programmed was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Jankalyan Sangathan (JKJS) here today.
The programme was organised under the Chairmanship of Vinod Sharma (Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Jankalyan Sangathan), who was the chief guest and Manjeet Kour (General Secretary women wing) was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Manjeet Kour stressed on the land rights of PoJK DP and local Alotees as already directed by Court and she also stressed the value able education in the border area i.e JNV KVS etc.
Concluding the session, Vinod Sharma addressed the garthering and briefed them about the compensation and rehabilitation of the PoJK DP and Local latti.
He urged the administration to gave them reservation as pahadi speaking language earlier declared by Government and stressed for the implementation of the court order for all refugees 47,65 and 71 as soon as possible on ground so that they will get benefits because these people land was covered by mines Highway , Army camp BSF camp.
Sharma further announced that they will organise a big event for Local latti in upcoming days.
Among others who spoke on the occasion included Vijay Kumar (General Secretary) and Narinder Sharma a Social Activist.
