JKLSA to set up help desks outside banks

JAMMU, Nov 18: Executive Chairman J&K Legal Service Authority (JKLSA) Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir today directed the Chairpersons of District Legal Service Authorities to deploy Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) to help during the money demonetization process.
Justice Mir stated that the PLVs may assist the common public in filling up of the forms for exchange of notes and making them aware of their rights and the formalities that are required for transactions and also cautioning the public against doing transactions on behalf of others.
He also directed the Chairpersons of DLSAs to coordinate with bank staff and police officials in this regard to enable PLVs to set up help desks outside the Banks.
