JKLSSF demands ban on child begging

JAMMU, Nov 28: Jammu and Kashmir Ladakh Samaj Sudhar Forum (JKLSSF) held a meeting under the presidium of Jugal Kishore Gupta.
In the meeting, the issues like child begging, hike in ration and electricity charges and the matter of migrant supervisors, anganwadi workers and helpers were discussed.
While speaking, the participants felt that the Government has put the people of State in a great mental distress by raising the rates of ration and electricity. They appealed to withdraw the decision of price hike of ration and electricity.
The participants also demanded implementation of Division Bench order and rehabilitate the beggars.
They appealed the authorities to create infrastructure for education and technical knowledge of children and impose ban on child begging.
They also appealed to keep the rights of migrant candidates working in Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) intact so that they may not feel distress.
