JKLTF apprises Education Minister of demands

JAMMU, Nov 20: A deputation of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (JKLTF) called on Education Minister Naeem Akthar and apprised him of various demands and issues of the teachers.
The deputation, headed by Maheshwar Parsad, working president and Mohan Singh, president of the federation, expressed serious concern over not implementing the transparent transfer policy in Jammu region with the result that Masters and even ladies, who do not come in the ambit of nepotism, are suffering and are on protest leave for the last one year.
Federation also express deep concern over non-payment of salary of Teachers/Masters working on the posts of RMSA, SSA, NPS. It demanded selection grade for under graduate teachers and stressed that the liabilities of Mid-Day-Meal be cleared soon.
It is also demanded that promotion should be done on regular basis and promoted Masters and Lecturers should be adjusted with immediate effect. On the name of verification Teachers’ should not harassed, the Federation said and demanded that Teaching community should not be deployed on preparation of Aadhar Card duty and other duties.
The deputation comprised of Hari Chand, Rampal Saini, Krishan Lal, Rattan Chand, Krishan Lal Gupta, Manjeet Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Shivdev Singh, Balbir Rana, Bhushan S Verma, Kuldeep Singh, Varinder Sharma, G N Malik and Kuldeep Raj.
