JAMMU, Oct 18: Leaders of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) Jammu met with recently appointed Mission Director (MD) National Health Mission (NHM) Jammu & Kashmir, Ayushi Sudan under the president ship of Sushil Sudan (president, JKMEF Jammu) and Member Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), in the office of NHM Nagrota, Jammu.
The main demand raised by the Federation members was immediate release of salary of all contractual staff of NHM employees and central sponsored scheme working in different districts keep in view the major Hindu festival, Deepawali.
MD NHM gave patient hearing to the Federation members and assured that their salary will be released before Deepawali.
Those who present were Kamal Jit Sawhney, Parfulat Singh, Dr SS Sambyal (NHM), Dr Ankush Chouhan (NHM), RP Singh, Darminder Singh, Madan Sharma, Kartik Sudan (NHM), Mahroof Hussain (NHM), Deepak Sharma (PPM), AshoK Nanda (STS), Mohd Saleem, Vijay Kumar and Bhadur Singh.
