JAMMU, Feb 26: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) elected its office bearers in a meeting held today under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan.
After consultation of all district and block presidents as well as presidents of all sister organizations of employees association, Jaswinder Singh was unanimously nominated as president of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Jammu province and Bahadur Singh was appointed as working president. Further, Sushil Sudan (past president) was nominated as Chairman of JKMEF Jammu province.
Speaking on the occasion, newly nominated president Jaswinder Singh, working president Bahadur Singh and Chairman Sushil Sudan pledged to serve the Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation with full might and work sincerely with the cooperation and support of Health employees.
Later, in a media interaction, the names of the newly elected office bearers were made public. On the occasion, grievances of the health employees were highlighted by the newly elected team of JKMEF.
Among those who addressed the conference were Parfulat Singh (general secretary), Bharat Bhushan Bhagat (president, Pharmacist Association), Harpal Singh (president, X Ray Tech), Aslam (president Lab Tech), Onkar Singh (president, Ophthalmic Tech), Mohd Nadeem, Anita Bhagat, Gagan Singh, Madan Sharma, Kulwant Singh, Sanjay Choudhary, Vikas Sabharwal and Rajinder Sharma.
