JAMMU, Mar 31: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) today appealed the Government to expedite the process of issuance of final order regarding salary of Female Multipurpose Health Workers (FMPHWs).
The request was made by the Federation members during a meeting held today under the presidentship of Sushil Sudan. Speaking on the occasion, Sushil Sudan said Female Multipurpose Health Workers were struggling from last 40 years for settlement of their salary.
“The FMPHWs knocked every door in these years but all in vain and now, the present administration paid heed to genuine demands of FMPHWs and settled salary issue in one stroke in recently held meeting,” Sudan stated.
He expressed hope that the FMPHWs of UT and 2211 head will get their regular salary from the Government coffer and put their best efforts to serve the humanity. Sudan requested the Government to expedite process for issue of final order in this connection.
