JKMEF for permanent Director Health, full fledge charge to incumbent

JAMMU, Oct 10: The Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation has reiterated its demand for permanent Director of Health Services and suggested that the incumbent may be considered for the full fledge charge to further streamline the system.
Talking to media persons, here today after chairing an emergency meeting of the Federation, JKMEF President and Member of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)), Sushil Sudan drew attention towards demands and issues of the Medical employees which were pending since long.
However, he added, it was because of personal efforts of the incumbent Incharge Director Dr Rajiv Sharma that long pending demand of DPC was fulfilled today while several other issues of the employees were also resolved. “Had Dr Rajiv Sharma been permanent Director, he would have done more for the employees as well as the Directorate,” said Sushil Sudan and appeal Government to place the incumbent Director Health Service Jammu Dr Rajeev Sharma as the permanent Director and consider extending his service.
JKMEF extended his appreciation to the Director Health who paid heed towards their issues and solved the demand of DPC. “Tireless efforts of Dr Rajeev Sharma and his dedicated team of ministerial staff accomplished this herculean task within a specified timeframe, which is highly commendable,” he added.
Sushil Sudan emphasized the positive impact of this initiative on the general public also as the increased availability of staff in healthcare facilities would bring much-needed relief to the community. Furthermore, he added, this development has effectively addressed a long-standing demand of the Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation by Promoting 550 health employees.
He expressed optimism that other pending demands of the federation would also receive timely attention and resolution.
